SOUL WORK OF THE WEEK — Crossing the Threshold
This week’s soul work is about recognizing the doorway that is already open in your life.
Take 10 to 15 minutes in a quiet space with your journal.
At the top of the page, write:
What threshold am I standing at right now?
Then create three sections:
What is Closing
Write down what feels complete, draining, or no longer aligned.
This may be:
- a habit
- a belief
- a relationship dynamic
- a way of working
- an old identity
Let yourself be honest.
Threshold work begins with recognizing what chapter is ending.
What is Opening
Write down what keeps calling for your attention.
This may be:
- a new idea
- a business direction
- a creative project
- a relationship shift
- a spiritual practice
Ask yourself:
What keeps repeating in my awareness?
Portals often announce themselves through repetition.
One Step Through the Doorway
Choose one action you can take this week that acknowledges the threshold.
Keep it simple.
Examples:
- schedule the conversation
- start the journal
- say yes to the opportunity
- release the outdated commitment
- begin the ritual or meditation
The doorway strengthens when action follows awareness.
At the end of the week, reflect:
- Did clarity increase?
- What became easier once I named the threshold?
- What am I ready to step into next?
Portals become more visible when we stop resisting what is already opening.
